Professor García Hípola has developed her academic and research career in the areas of architectural design and theory. She has specialized on landscape design and its relationship with society, economy and architecture. She has taught in CEU, Boston Architectural Center, Lisbon, Milan and Harvard, and lectured at MIT, Dublin, Brussels, Karlsruhe, Kaiserslautern and Milan. She has been visiting scholar, in Columbia, UCLA, Bartlett and Edinburgh and member of several international research groups as “Cultural Landscape”. She is the author of the book “The Landscape of Architecture”.
