Ph.D. Candidate in Economic History, Universidad San Pablo-CEU (ES) Master in International Management, IE Business School (ES) BA in Humanities and Heritage Management, Universidad San Pablo-CEU (ES)

His main area of research is the Spanish Enlightenment, the so-called Borbonic Reform. His study focuses on the economic returns generated by the several scientific expeditions that were sponsored by the Spanish Government in the second half of the 18th Century. Professor Dameto’s courses combines History, Art and Culture providing students integral view of the past, reinforced by the power of images, in order to gain a better understanding of today. Currently works at IE being responsible for the Humanities courses and activities. Prior to joining IE he developed a career in the Art industry working in companies such as CaixaForum or Sotheby’s.

He is contributor of the Humanities Blog and Co organizer of the IE Foundation Prize in the Humanities.
