Beatriz Eugenia Sánchez is associate professor at Universidad de los Andes, Law Faculty (Bogota).  Her research deepens the International Law ability to weave a protector net over the human being and the challenges it faces on the globalized contemporary world.  Refugees, internal displaced people, migrants, indigenous people, armed conflict victims and those who face multinational corporations’ activity consequences are the main subjects of her work.  It has been published in magazines and book collaborations.

Dr. Sánchez has taught at Universidad Carlos III and has been visiting research fellow at Instituto Universitario de Estudios sobre Migraciones, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (Madrid).  Currently she is member of International Association for the Study of Forced Migration (IASFM) executive committee.  As consultant, she has worked with UNHCR, IOM and UNDP.
