Cycle Russia: Past and Present “INTEGRATION AND NATIONAL POLICIES”
To Be Appointed
Since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War, new countries have become members of supranational structures and others have changed and/or modified their national policies. A new global scenario calls for new ways of approaching one’s neighbours and wider interests sometimes collide with national ones and vice versa. With the help of a former Spanish ambassador to Russia, who was exceptional witness of those changes we will try to analyse what are the present and future challenges of this country.
Speaker: Excmo. Sr. D. Francisco Javier Elorza, Spanish Ambassador. Moderator: Sra. Dª. Arantza de Areilza, Dean of IE School of International Relations
